Regarding COVID-19

We are following the Governor’s Executive Order to remain closed until it is safe to re-open.

During this time of staying home and staying safe, here are a few ideas to help you stress less and make the most out of the downtime. As always, if you have any questions, we are happy to help.

SELF CARE IDEAS DURING STRESSFUL TIMES


Establish a routine: get up and go to sleep at the same time, shower and get ready for your day

Work out: There a ton of videos available for streaming for every fitness level – check a few out!

Be still: Give yourself permission to just be. Whatever that looks like for you: Meditating, burning a scented candle and sitting quietly. Take the time you need.

Read: Start your day with something positive or inspirational. Maybe it’s a good time to start a book club- you can get together virtually to discuss. (Warning: there may be wine involved!)

Cook: Plan a themed meal night once or twice a week…Mexican anyone??

Declutter: Pick one spot a week and get organized. Start small you’ll be surprised at the difference it makes.

Laugh: Watch a funny movie or set up a virtual happy hour with some crazy fun friends (or family)

Get outside: Walk, ride a bike, explore one of our local parks. We may not be able to garden yet but we can prep those flower beds!!

Pamper yourself: Take a nice long bath, put on a mask, give yourself a mani / pedi (you’ve got this!) 

Listen to music: Find a chill playlist, sit back and enjoy.

Focus on the Positive: Grab yourself a Gratitude Journal or put positive sticky notes around the house.

BREATHE… When you need to reset; Stop. Take 3 DEEP cleansing breaths and know that this will all be over soon.
